The weekly marathon indie rock noise pop listening session/ internet radio show known as "480 Minutes" returns today after a two-week hiatus.Ticket giveaways will include Great Northern/Robbers on High Street/ Low Sea Roar @ Bottom of the Hill on 11/9 and The Warlocks/ Darker My Love/ The Otherside @ Bottom of the Hill on 11/16. Get in touch when you hear songs by any of those bands on the station and you just might win yourself a pair of tickets to their show.
Today's show will feature new stuff from The (aforementioned) Warlocks, Saul Williams (produced by Trent Reznor, available for free legal download or $5 a la Radiohead at the album site), and Black Francis (the artist formerly known as Frank Black formerly known as Black Francis of the Pixies). There are dozens of other new CDs here, but I'm not sure how many I'm going to get to check out and encode into the BAGeL Radio library tonight before jet lag catches up with me.
