"480 Minutes" - Rerun Featuring Smile Brigade

Happy Friday, folks.

I will be in transit today, so today's episode of "480 Minutes" will be a re-broadcast of a previously recorded show. It happens to be a really good one, featuring Seattle band Smile Brigade stopping by the studio for a chat and an acoustic mini-set, so do tune in.

Don't forget that next Friday is that special, once-a-year show that features the unveiling of the BAGeL Radio top albums of the year, top songs of the year, and top Bay Area albums of the year. You'll want to tune in with pen & paper at hand so you can jot down those ever-so-perfect gift items for your music-loving loved ones.

No IMs today, but feel free to send in any comments or questions via e-mail and I will do my best to get back to you.

Oh, and thanks to everyone who came out to Bottom of the Hill last night for Ex-Boyfriends, Audio Out Send, and 20 Minute Loop -- how fun was that?!

Finally, some breaking news: BAGeL Radio will be broadcasting from the MacWorld Expo in January thanks to the good folks at San Francisco State University, where I teach a class in Blogs, Podcasts, and Internet Radio (next class starts 3/1/08). More details on the MacWorld broadcast(s) to follow.

Hi Christine-

You can find the code to embed your very own "Cost Of War" counter at National Priorities.org.
