"480 Minutes" - New CYHSY, Bjork

First of  all, thanks for a great Rumble.  This past Wednesday's was the best in a while, especially since I wasn't sure what to expect after a holiday weekend.  What a great crowd!  And the bands weren't too shabby, either!  Nor was the 14-inning Giants-Padres game.  So much entertainment!

Not only am I happy to announce a new 480 Minutes program today (oh, and the CYHSY in the subject line stands for Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, an unwieldy band name but a great band nonetheless, who have an overdue new album coming out in September), I'm also thrilled to tell you that next week we will have Miwa Gemini here performing live at BAGeL Radio during 480 Minutes.  Since the show is live radio (and more to the point we do this show by the seat of our pants!) it's hard to say exactly what time she'll be on the air. Best guestimate is between 12 noon and 1 p.m.

Today and next week and every day of the week you and your friends (hint, hint!) can tune in for free by clicking that shiny new giant silver Play button on the right.  Or click here.

During the live show hours (Fridays, 9a.m. - 5p.m. Pacific Time) please get in touch:

Today's new playlist additions include music from Bjork (Reykjavik, Iceland or Outer Space, we're not quite sure), Clap Your Hands Say Yeah (Brooklyn, NY), Dent May (Oxford, MS), Digitalism (Hamburg, Germany), Fonda (Los Angeles, CA),  Eleanor Friedberger (New York, NY), Jolie Holland (Houston, TX), Mansions (Louisville, KY), Abbe May (Perth, Australia), Metronomy (London, England), The Pine Hill Haints (Auburn, Alabama), Spring Offensive (Oxford, England), Stars (Montreal Canada), Thee Oh Sees (San Francisco, CA), and Team Me (Oslo, Norway)
