"480 Minutes" - November

The firehose-on-full-blast-like flood of fall releases violently violating our inbox continued this week and while the volume has been impressive, the quality has not.  So much weak disco pretending to be indie dance pop and emo (really, folks?  emo?  Still?) by numbers.  Gross laziness represented by the empty black squares in today's album mosaic (above). We even received one single from a band that is 6 minutes and 48 seconds long.  A nearly 7-minute long single.  In the history of rock and roll there have been a handful of singles that long which were worth the time and made their way into rotation, but let me tell you, this is not one of them.

There were a few gems amongst the detritus, so today's all-new 480 Minutes show will feature new music by Cheatahs (London, England, @cheatahssuck), Dave Segedy (Bloomington, IN, @slpngbg), Lonesome Leash (New Orleans, LA, @lonesomeleash), The Moonlandingz (Sheffield, England, @themoonlandingz),  Stella Diana (Naples, Italy, @RaphaliteRecs), The Stormalongs (Toronto, Canada, @thestormalongs), Vapour Night (Isle of Lewis, Scotland), Video (Austin, TX, @cultofvideo), and W-X (Los Angeles, CA).

We will also mix in a few Halloween-themed numbers throughout the day.

Tune in to BAGeL Radio on Fridays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Eastern U.S. Time for the award-winning, live-hosted 480 Minutes program.  The show is rebroadcast Friday evenings at 7 p.m., Saturdays 5 a.m. and 3 p.m., and Sundays at 1 a.m. ET.
