Another positive note: your host has returned, rested and ready, from a glorious week off in California.
The flood of submissions has started up again in earnest, and the aforementioned vacation did not anticipate said early flood just yet, so we're a little behind, but we do have some new additions to debut for you today.
Today's show will be live-hosted from 9am-5pm Eastern U.S. Time and will feature new music by Disq (Madison, Disqonsin, @NewPhoneWhoDisq), Field Music (Sunderland, England, @fieldmusicmusic), The Gonks (San Francisco, CA), of Montreal (Atlanta, GA, @xxofMontrealxx), and The Orange Kyte (Vancouver, Canada, @theorangekyte).
Tune in and enjoy some live radio. All the cool old fogies are doing it.
The marathon 8-hour show is followed by 2 hours of uninterrupted music and is then rebroadcast in its entirety beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, 5 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday, and one final time at 1 a.m. on Sunday. That is followed by a rebroadcast of a Fuzzy Road radio show at 11 a.m. and then a couple of old 480 Minutes episodes from this week in past years, making for hosted shows all weekend long.

Tune in! somafm.com/bagel, plus SomaFM channels are available on many set top boxes and home audio systems as well as by voice command on many smart speakers. Also, iOS users can also take advantage of the Shortcuts app to create a home screen button that will launch BAGeL Radio via a single touch or a simple Siri voice command. Open Shortcuts; search for SomaFM; select BAGeL Radio; unselect the "show when run" toggle to avoid the extra dialog box; give the shortcut a name; bingo!
