"480 Minutes" - Yes, Individual 1 did commit an act so extreme and egregious that it rises to the level of a high crime and misdemeanor

The words above above paraphrase the only member of congress to ever vote to remove a president from office of his own party. Credit where credit is due, Mitt Romney spoke from his heart and acted accordingly, knowing full well The Mendacious Orange Buffoon, Cult45, and Fox would come down hard on him. This week congressional Republicans exploded a bomb in service of destroying constitutional democracy here in the U.S. There will be no more trying to understand the people who voted for the criminal debaser in chief, and no more passes for moderate Republicans who sometimes say the right things but never do them.

Calling witnesses for the impeachment trial of Individual 1 was supported by 75% of Americans. No witnesses were allowed. Background checks for firearm purchases are supported by 88% of registered voters -- congressional Republicans continue to block legislation on the issue. Gun control, along with climate change, were not even addressed during the State of the Union Address.  This is a zero sum, take no prisoners game and to be blunt, at stake is the American experiment in democracy, human rights, liberty, opportunity, and equality.

Today's show will be live-hosted from 9am-5pm Eastern U.S. Time and feature new music by Baba Ali (NJ, @babaxli) Elbow (Manchester, England, @elbow), Ezra Furman (Evanston, IL, @EzraFurman), HMLTD (London, England, @hmltd), Mush (Leeds, England, @hellomushband), and The Psychedelic Furs (London, England, @pfurs).

And perhaps a bit of anger.

The live-hosted radio is a very different animal from listening to a playlist or algorithm-driven stream. If you use music as wallpaper, it's probably not your thing (not that there's anything wrong with that!), but if you like discovering new music and finding connections between songs thematically, musically, lyrically, emotionally, etc., human-curated content is the way to go.

The marathon 8-hour show is followed by 2 hours of uninterrupted music and is then rebroadcast in its entirety beginning at 7 p.m. Friday,  5 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday, and one final time at 1 a.m. on Sunday. That is followed by a rebroadcast of a Fuzzy Road radio show at 11 a.m. and then a couple of old 480 Minutes episodes from this week in past years, making for hosted shows all weekend long.

For help with remembering when the live-hosted shows and re-runs air, check out the program schedule (which you can import into your favorite calendar program!) embedded here:
