BAGeL Radio Friday Live-5/19/06-New Silversun Pickups

First an announcement: there's a new live show on BAGeL Radio! Every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pacific Coast Time, Cory from Absolutely Kosher Records will stress out the control freak in me by taking control of the BAGeL Radio decks. This week was his first show and the response to his show was overwhelmingly positive, so make sure to tune in next Tuesday for another fabulously ecclectic set of indie label music from the world over.

Several listeners will once again win a set of Logitech computer speakers (with subwoofer!) during today's show, so tune in early to find out how to win.

Some of the new music featured today will include songs by Mission of Burma, Ministry, Lily Allen, The Electric Soft Parade, The Plus Ones, The Coup, The Poles, Short Hand, Bashi Bazooka, The Hooks, Yellowish, and yes, at least one new Silversun Pickups song (SSPU topped the 2005 BAGeL Radio song of the year list with "Kissing Families").

There will also be a primer about The Fall at high noon.

The BAGeL Radio Friday Live show starts at 9 a.m. Pacific Time and runs until 5 p.m. PT -- please tune in and request songs and stuff via:
