"480 Minutes" - New An Horse

Thanks for another great Rumble to everyone who came out. Mr. Loveless played an outstanding set, The Fling were excellent and made me laugh out loud when they Tweeted about playing in SF, "Barry Bonds' band Roids to Men is gonna open up for us." I had to break it to them that since Bonds' obstruction of justice conviction, his band had developed a much harder sound and have now changed their name to Roid Rage Against The Machine.

I am so lucky to live in San Francisco, there's always so much going on, and this week there are so many great bands in town it's hard to choose which to see. Boo hoo, I know! Tomorrow night (Saturday, 5/7) it's Crystal Stilts @ The Rickshaw Stop (tix here) plus an early show at the Make-Out Room featuring Mist and Mast and Pancho-San (tix at the door), Sunday and Monday it's Elvis Costello @ The Fox Theater in Oakland (Sunday is sold out, buy Monday tix here), Tuesday night (5/10) it's The Raveonettes @ Bimbo's (tix here), and on Thursday (5/12) Ezra Furman and The Harpoons are playing at Bottom of the Hill (tix here). Lots of nourishment for the soul -- now that's a great week of shows! Also, Monday is the next SF MusicTech Summit, which will nourish the mind.

Today's new playlist additions include music from City Center (New York, NY), Company (Charleston, SC), Dag for Dag (Stockholm, Sweden), The Fling (Los Angeles, CA), The Globes (Seattle, WA), An Horse (Brisbane, Australia), Jets Overhead (Victoria, BC, Canada), Kids On A Crime Spree (Oakland, CA), Les Butcherettes (Guadalajara, Mexico), Man Man (Philadelphia, PA), Mister Loveless (Oakland, CA), overlord (Brooklyn, NY), Palace Family Steak House (San Francisco, CA
), Royal Bangs (Knoxville, TN), The Sea And Cake (Chicago, IL), and Wild Beasts (London, England).

We may also get an unprecedented, in-person visit from the head honcho at Loudcaster who will be flying in from Boston, so if you have any questions, comments, or recommendations for his service, definitely let me know.
