"480 Minutes" - new David Bowie

Don't be fooled by today's gloomy album artwork -- we have some excellent new music to play for you today, and only some of it is gloomy!

How much fun was last week's show?  I had a great time thanks to many of you who got in touch with your requests, comments, weather reports, photographic evidence of said weather reports, corrections, how-to-broadcast instruction manuals, well-wishes, jokes, news, and those who were just looking for shout-outs.   It was awesome.  The show received more positive feedback than any non-year end episode ever.  That's saying something for a show with over 300 episodes!  Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Today's show will feature new music by The Coathangers (Atlanta, GA), Cold Warps (Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada), David Bowie (Mars), Devendra Banhart (Los Angeles, CA), Hookworms (Leeds, England), Marc Carroll (Dublin, Ireland), Phosphorescent (Brooklyn, NY), Portugal. The Man (Portland OR via Wasilla, AK), and The Woolen Men (Portland, OR).
