"480 Minutes" - Live...From The Upper West Side!

As announced last week we will be broadcasting remotely today from the Upper West Side of Manhattan.  There may be kids around. And grandparent-types. And a tiny little dog that will lick the skin off your hand if you let her. This is going to be weird.

Please note: there will be no new show next Friday (11/29), as that is the Friday after Thanksgiving here in the U.S. and we never do a show that day.  That is one of our few annual built-in Fridays off.  We will likely schedule reruns of some of our favorite episodes of 480 Minutes for you to enjoy, or enjoy again, or ignore entirely.  In other words you absolutely must tune in today or take the risk of going two whole weeks (including but not limited to the remainder of November) without hearing your favorite indie rock noise pop internet radio host do his thing live.  The horror!

Today's 480 Minutes show (every Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Eastern Time) will debut new songs by Destroyer (Vancouver, Canada), Gap Dream (Fullerton, CA, @GapDream), Magic Markers (Hartford, CT, @TweetHassle), *The Memories (Portland, OR, @memspop), *Pure Bliss (Oakland, CA), and *Warm Soda (Oakland, CA).

* = from the brand new west coast garage rock compilation I Need You Bad.

Requests will be taken and oftentimes honored during the live-hosted hours (9 a.m. - 5 p.m Eastern Time) via e-mail and IM:

Yahoo IM/GoogleTalk: bagelradio
AOL/iChat: bagelradiolive

Please Tweet about the artists you hear on 480 Minutes today. Twitter handles, well, at least the ones we could find, are in the list above.

Let them know you heard them on BAGeL Radio/SomaFM!
