"480 Minutes" - New Frightened Rabbit and PJ Harvey

One of our favorite bands of the 2000s, Frightened Rabbit, is back with a new album, as is one of our favorite artists of the 90s, PJ Harvey.  For some, these releases would be a joyous occasion.  For neurotics like us it brings fear and trepidation -- what if they suck and permanently damage how we feel about these important artists the way Dirty Work wilted the Rolling Stones and Monster mashed R.E.M. ?!?  Such fears were only stoked by the facts that, for the first time ever, (1) we didn't like the Frightened Rabbit advance single, and (2) we haven't loved a PJ album since before the Frabbits had a record out.

The good news is these releases mean we have to host an all-new 480 Minutes show for you today even though we really shouldn't because of family/holiday commitments.  And you'll have to tune in to find out just what we think about these two new releases are!

Tune in to BAGeL Radio on Fridays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Eastern U.S. Time for the live-hosted, award-winning  480 Minutes program during which we highlight our newest playlist additions.  The show is rebroadcast Friday evenings beginning at 7 p.m., Saturdays at 5 a.m. and 3 p.m., and Sundays at 1 a.m. ET.

Today's show will include new tunes by Frightened Rabbit (Selkirk, Scotland, @frabbits), King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard (Melbourne, Australia, @KingGizzardBand), Lola Marsh (Tel Aviv, Israel), Nothing (Philadelphia, PA, @bandofnothing), PJ Harvey (Dorset, England, @PJHarveyUK), Programm (Toronto, Canada, @weareprogramm), and Synthetic ID (San Francisco, CA).
