"480 Minutes" - Retrograde Nut-job Chaos


While watching bits of the Republican convention this week it dawned on me that we are decades too late in ridding ourselves of the cancer that is Roger Ailes. The damage has been done, continues being done, and how we can bridge the vast political divide when we are working from two completely separate realities is beyond me.

Read this NY Times Op Ed, penned by a fellow who worked in the last three Republican administrations.  His is an interesting perspective on what is going on, although I think he's way too optimistic about his party's chances for surviving their self-created Trumpocalypse.

Also, if after the police shooting of an unarmed black man laying on his back with his hands up in North Miami hasn't convinced you that there's a problem with the way our police police, you are part of the problem.
