480 Minutes - The Dead Did Not Die

For the first time since leaving the Democratic party, I am considering rejoining. Their efforts to delay and thwart the Kavanaugh refutation hearings have been most encouraging. Plus I'd like to be able to vote in primaries again, which New York State does not allow for unaffiliated voters like myself. [I left the Democratic party when Bill Clinton announced his draconian crime bill (in an attempt to outflank the "law and order" conservatives from the right?) and his plan to "end welfare as we know it." I did not swear off voting for Democrats, but I could not be on board with those hateful, shortsighted, barbaric policies.]

Also this week the *President gave great news to the relatives and loved ones of the 3000 Americans killed in Puerto Rico by hurricanes and their aftermath -- they did not die.  Yes, he Tweeted that. I bet those affected are rejoicing at the wonderful news.

Today's BAGeL Radio debuts will include new music today from The Ar-Kaics (Richmond, VA), Demob Happy (Brighton, England, @DemobHappy), Pill (Brooklyn, NY), and We Were Promised Jetpacks (Edinburgh, Scotland, @wwpj).

The show is live-hosted from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Eastern U.S. Time and is followed by 2 hours of uninterrupted music.  The show is then rebroadcast in it's entirety beginning at 7 p.m., then again on Saturday at 5 a.m. and 3 p.m., and one final time on Sunday at 1 a.m., followed by a rebroadcast of this week's Fuzzy Road radio show at 11 a.m. and then a couple of old 480 Minutes episodes from this week in past years, so there will be hosted shows all weekend long.
