"480 Minutes" - 3/2/07

It's another week chock full of great new releases and not-yet-released stuff. If the current pace keeps up for another six weeks or so, 2007 may well go down in history as the best year for alt/modern/post-punk rock music since 1984. Seriously.

Today's massive stack of new music includes songs by Blonde Redhead, Lemurs, !!!, The Wombats, The Born Again Floozies, Ted Leo and The Pharmacists, Minipop, The Cinematics, Mink, The Bluetones, Minmae, Wolf & Cub, and Fulton Lights. There will also be some Noise Pop acts sprinkled throughout the set.

Many thanks to The Otherside, Peloton, and The Union Trade for rocking Thee packed Parkside on Wednesday during the BAGeL Radio hosted Noise Pop Happy Hour, thanks to Boom the soundman who did an excellent job, and of course thanks to everyone who came to the event. Rock Happy Hours are kinda fun, aren't they?

Please tune in for "480 Minutes" today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time and request songs and stuff via:
