BAGeL Radio is in the news again, this time in the SF Weekly cover story about the dire situation facing the webcasting industry. Earlier in the week I also participated in a round table discussion of the issues facing webcasters. The show was hosted by KCRW General Manager Ruth Seymour, and I was there along with representatives from Pandora, Live365, and Yahoo! Music, WAMU, and AccuRadio. The early (6pm-10pm) party will feature live performances by Ted of The Heavenly States, Matt of The Herms, HIJK, Miyako of Peloton, and a special guest, plus a bake sale, chili cook-off, raffles and silent auction featuring amazing prizes generously provided by Absolutely Kosher Records, Birdman Recording Group, Chronicle Books, Eenie Meenie Records, Griffin Technology, Jackpine Social Club, Kiptronic, LaLa Visuals, Live 365, one inch round, Peter Ellenby, Turn Records, What Are Records?, and WilloToons.
