"480 Minutes" - RIP Gerard Smith of TV on The Radio

This week Gerard Smith, bass player of TV On The Radio, lost his battle with lung cancer at age 36. Our condolences go out to the band, Gerard's family, and everyone else that knew and loved him. More on Gerard Smith here.

By the way, Loudcaster (and thousands of other sites) experienced extended downtime yesterday due to a major outage at their service provider, Amazon Web Services. We hope that the problems have been fixed and will not reoccur and apologize to those who were unable to tune in yesterday because of the outage. We know how much it sucks to not have access to BAGeL Radio, we get very cranky. We're just glad you guys made it through your Thursday without us -- hopefully that won't happen again.
