"480 Minutes" - New Jeff The Brotherhood, Let's Wrestle

Many thanks to all three bands who played The Rumble at Milk Bar this week.  Three excellent performances, including the best Excuses For Skipping set I've seen to date, and Sister Crayon, who closed the show with the best set we've seen at the Rumble in over year.  Incredible.  Many thanks to everyone who came out, and to our sponsors for helping us pay the bands while keeping it free for those who RSVP.

It's time once again for 480 Minutes, the show which reveals to you (and us!) all of the new songs being added to regular rotation next week.  Tune in for free by clicking that shiny new giant silver Play button on the right.  Or click here.  During the live show hours (Fridays, 9a.m. - 5p.m. Pacific Time) please get in touch with requests, comments, whathaveyou:

The show is re-broadcast on Friday nights starting at 7p.m. Pacific Time, then twice more on Saturdays before we switch back to regular BAGeL Radio programming (all the great music, no silly host interrupting it with babbling monologues about how terrific Glasvegas sounded at the Great American Music Hall earlier this week even though the singer looked like Joe Strummer having raided Darryl Hall's wardrobe and Holly "Frankie Goes To Hollywood" Johnson's toy box, and how sick said babbling host is of seeing Sarah Fucking Palin self-promotion reported as news.

Oh, and happy birthday, Dad.  I love you.

Today's new playlist additions include music from Dark Mean (Hamilton, Canada), Jeff The Brotherhood (Nashville, TN, Let's Wrestle (London, England), Liam Finn (Melbourne, Australia), Making Friendz (Brooklyn, NY), My First Earthquake (San Francisco, CA), Paleo (Iowa City, IA),  Selebrities (Brooklyn, NY), and Sister Crayon (Sacramento, CA).
