Last week was the College Music Journal (CMJ) New Music Marathon and things got a little backed up here at BAGeL Radio. As a result we only made it through 425 of the 955 songs submitted since our last review, which preceded the festival.
Anyway, it was great to be back on the air on Tuesday with Fuzzy Road episode #74, and today will be even more fun with TONS of new playlist additions to debut for you.

A message to the artists, labels, and radio promo companies who submitted music last week during the longest music festival on the east coast, a 5-day marathon featuring bands playing in venues spanning multiple boroughs ---- what were you thinking?! Silly gooses, the lot of you!
It was a great week highlighted by 3 bands I saw twice (OK, one of them was a couple of weeks ago, but I still went to see them again!): Dilly Dally, Death By Unga Bunga, and Heaters. There was also an outstanding unamplified rooftop set by New Zealand's Anthonie Tonnon (video below).
