"480 Minutes" - Devin Nunes' Cow

President Bone Spurs: "You thought I was a disgusting, hateful, and disgraceful when I made fun of John McCain when he was alive? Hold my Diet Coke."

New Zealand did the whole thoughts and prayers thing after the terrorist killing spree by a Radical White Supremacist whose manifesto echoes President Nationalist's anti-immigrant words, policies, and attitudes, and this week New Zealand banned military style semi-automatic guns and assault rifles. Meanwhile here in the U.S. we're a month away from being 20 years removed from the Columbine massacre and 12 years from Virginia Tech massacre, Sandy Hook was 6 years ago, Orlando was 3 years ago, Las Vegas and the First Texas Baptist Church were 18 months ago...there have been more than 80 mass shootings in the U.S. since Columbine...and U.S. gun laws have, for the most part, been loosened over that time.

This is but one sign of the collective insanity wrought by the lobbying of the NRA, the amplification of the guns guns and more guns mantra by Fox News and other right wing outlets, and the enabling of this insanity of the Republican party.

On a lighter note, presidential sycophant and noted car switcher Devin Nunes achieved one of the great self-owns this week when he, apparently forgetting that he's a public figure who lives in a country where free speech remains the law of the land, filed a massive, ludicrous, unwinnable lawsuit against Twitter and a parody account, @DevinCow. Devin Nunes' cow, which had a relatively minor following before the lawsuit, immediately exploded in popularity and now dwarfs Nunes' actual Twitter account in reach.

Today's 480 Minutes show will feature new songs by CHAI (Nagoya, Japan, @CHAIofficialJPN), FEWS (Malmo, Sweden, @fewsmusic), Pink Mexico (Brooklyn, NY, @pink_mexico), and Ritual Howls (Detroit, MI, @ritualhowls).

480 Minutes is live-hosted from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Eastern U.S. Time and is followed by 2 hours of uninterrupted music.  The show is then rebroadcast in it's entirety beginning at 7 p.m., then again on Saturday at 5 a.m. and 3 p.m., and one final time on Sunday at 1 a.m., followed by a rebroadcast of this week's Fuzzy Road radio show at 11 a.m. and then a couple of old 480 Minutes episodes from this week in past years, so there will be hosted shows all weekend long.
