Speaking of serious, if you are a California voter overwhelmed by the propositions on next Tuesday's ballot, don't fret. There are a couple of thorough voter guides that you can read online and/or print to take with you. One is provided by KQED, the other by the SF Bay Guardian. Both are worth reading -- they explain what the propositions do, who is backing them, and highlight the pros and cons.
