"480 Minutes" - The 420 Edition

Today we have tickets to give away for Loquat's CD release show next Friday (4/27) at The Independent.  Also are on the bill are Mister Loveless and Excuses For Skipping, and all three are Bay Area bands we recommend checking out.  Get in touch when you hear a Loquat song between 9a.m. and 5p.m. and you might just win yourself a pair of tickets to their show!

This week we again had a virtual ton of new releases submitted, and (un)fortunately most of these sucked.  On the boo! side, well, much time was wasted listening to crap.  On the yay! side, it didn't take nearly as long as usual to review them all.  The ones that made the cut and will get their BAGeL Radio debut today include music by Allo Darlin' (London, England), Bear In Heaven (Brooklyn, NY), Dry The River (London, England), Emma Louise (Brisbane, Australia), Fort Lean (Brooklyn, NY), Here We Go Magic (Brooklyn, NY), Imaginary Cities (Winnipeg, Canada),  Jake Bugg (Nottingham, England),  Orcas (Seattle, WA), Theme Park (London, England), and White Woods (Atlanta, GA).

Yes, 11 new playlist additions...even though most of the submissions this week were weak.
