"480 Minutes" - Still Not Sexy, New Pixies

For the first time in my life I have made it a week into the new year without messing up and writing last year's date on something. Of course, that used to happen mainly with things like checks and snail mail letters, both of which are now on the endangered species list, so maybe it's not so surprising after all.

Today's 480 Minutes (every Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Eastern Time) episode will debut new songs by Damien Jurado (Seattle, WA, @DamienJurado), The Denzels (Brooklyn, NY, @TheDenzels), The Hidden Cameras (Toronto, Canada, @Hidden_Cameras), Nick Waterhouse (San Francisco, CA, @NickWaterhouse) Painted Palms (San Francisco, CA, @PaintedPalms),  Pixies (Boston, MA, @Pixies), Tiger! Shit! Tiger! Tiger! (Foligno, Italy, @wearetstt), and TOY (East London, England, @TheBandToy).

Several of these bands are going to be featured in our upcoming new psychedelic rock show, The Fuzzy Road Radio Show.  The fact that we got several strong Fuzzy submissions this week really bring home the need for this new show, if not a whole separate station devoted to the garage-y, fuzz-laden post-shoegaze psych rock.
