"480 Minutes" - Frank Turner Live Session!

The centerpiece of today's edition of "480 Minutes" will be a live performance by one of our favorite new artists (well, he's new to US audiences!), Frank Turner, recorded here at BAGeL Radio HQ. Check out photos of FT's "Living Room Sessions" here, then tune in at noon Pacific Time to hear the entire set, complete with banter, stories, songs, and lots of cursing.

Then tonight please come to Bottom of the Hill for the next BAGeL Radio Presents... event -- it's the CD Release Party for Love Is Chemicals and their excellent second album, Song of the Summer Youth Brigade. LiC will be playing along with HIJK and The Dont's.

Today's "480 Minutes" show will feature new songs from 18 different acts including DeVotchKa (Denver, CO), We Is Shore Dedicated (Oakland, CA), Burial (UK), Tut Tut (Kansas City, KS), Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks (Portland, OR), Drew Danburry (Huntington Beach, CA), Justice of the Unicorns (Brooklyn, NY), Light FM (Los Angeles CA), Ladyhawk (Vancouver, British Columbia), M.I.A. (Sri Lanka), Psycho & The Birds (aka Robert Pollard & Todd Tobias, Dayton, OH), The Airborne Toxic Event (Los Feliz, CA), Working For A Nuclear Free City (Manchester England, England, across the Atlantic Sea...), The Death Set (Baltimore, MD), Downtown Harvest (Philadelphia, PA), La Scala (Chicago, IL), The Wagner Logic (Kasilof, AK), and couple of Neil Young covers.

Please tune in to "480 Minutes" today and every Friday. The show is live from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time.
