"480 Minutes" - Live From New York...

OK, so here's the thing -- 480 Minutes is being broadcast today from the house in which I grew up in Queens, NY. This has happened before, but not for several years, and I must say I'm kinda excited about it even though such efforts often court disaster.

In fact, it already has -- I don't have a decent working microphone, so we're going to piecing this together using whatever we can find: earbuds, built-in mics, the left speaker of my headphones....we'll try anything!  Suggestions welcome!

The biggest way in which this affects you regular listeners is that today's show will be live from 9a.m. to 5p.m. Eastern Time, not Pacific, so the East Coast folks get to hear the babble starting 3 hours earlier, and the West Coast folks will be starting their workday towards the middle of the show.  Confused?  You will be...
